Financing your home is a BIG deal and it is a complicated process. My goal is to walk you through every step of the way, take away the mystery and get you the best possible deal on your home financing. Being there for my clients before, during and after closing is very important to me.
In addition to getting you the best home financing possible, I also believe in having some fun along the way. That’s why my Partner Michael and I developed Mort, the Mortgage Monkey as my mascot. Mort is our way of injecting a little fun into the process and removing some of the fear and intimidation. One of my favorite compliments from clients is that they called me because at least they knew I had a sense of humor!
For many people, the home financing process can be an extremely frightening and overwhelming. Adding ignorance or discrimination into the process can make it that much worse for members of the Gay and Lesbian community. Too many people never take the chance to become a homeowner because they are intimidated and afraid of rejection because of their unique situation.
That’s why years ago I chose to specialize with the Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender community. I’m extremely proud that many of my clients are Gay/Lesbian – but I don’t discriminate, I’m happy to work with straight clients too!
It doesn’t matter if you are gay or straight – getting the right advice is very important. I’m passionate about my work and I am proud to be thriving because of so many repeat clients and all of their referrals.
I couldn’t have done it all without the support of Michael, my Partner of fourteen years. We live with our two not so well behaved terriers, Maggie and Doogie in our latest project home in Southwest Portland. We love real estate and have remodeled several homes together over the years. Every time we get things 100% done, it doesn’t take long for us to start thinking we need a new project. I’m dragging my feet now – I really like our current home!
