What is the DM Advantage Earnest Money Guarantee?
I believe it is critical for an Approval Letter to have teeth. Directors Mortgage stands behind our Approval Letters and offers a financing guarantee of up to $5,000. Examples of where this could come into play:
- Unforeseen job termination
- A last-minute judgement pops up
- A last-minute collection pops up
- The Home doesn’t appraise and parties can’t come to terms
- The death of one of the borrowers
What is not covered
- Termination of the contract for any other reason besides financing including the inspection contingency
- If any party changes their mind about buying or selling
